Our classes decorated 45 bags to participate in the Earth Day Grocery Bags Project!
About our project:
Assurant Satellite Learning Center Miami, Florida 2nd & 3rd Graders Celebrate Earth Day with Norman Brothers Produce. Students from both Mrs.
McMillan’s 2nd grade class & Ms. Mazin’s 3rd grade class enjoyed sharing in the 2007 Earth Day Grocery Bag Project. Together our students decorated approximately 45 bags. The bags are being distributed on Earth Day at Norman Brothers Produce. Our 2007 Earth Day activities include: Keeping an Earth Day report card, decorating Norman Brothers Produce grocery bags, designing a banner for the store, creating original "Trash Sculptures", and decorating classroom recycling boxes. The students are discovering many ways to Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. Happy Earth Day 2007 from 2nd & 3rd graders at Assurant Satellite Learning Center & Norman Brothers Produce!!
