We decorated 140
bags!
About our project: The children enthusiastically decorated their bags with a great cross-section of environmental messages. They thought of catchy slogans and drew clear pictures to get the message across. One class then visited Mt Barker Foodland and walked around the shop introducing themselves to shoppers and offering them bags to use. They also explained the purpose of the visit. It was a great success with alot of positive outcomes. The local newspaper also included an article on the excursion in their paper.

We decorated 33
bags!
About our project: The Third Grade students at Colegio Jefferson in Caracas Venezuela tried to encourage their teachers to use paper bags instead of the commonly used plastic bags. The children made their own paper bags and decorated them. They were inspired to lend a helping hand to keep clean our beautiful Earth!!! See the pictures attached.
