We decorated 500 bags!

About our project: I found this project researching earth day ideas. The children were very excited to participate. This project is exciting not only because, the students are eager to go to the store to see if they get thier bag but, as a teacher it is exciting to watch children of all ages make joint efforts to contribute to not only thier community, but also to thier planet. I loved being apart of such an amazing project and will continue it with my students year after year.

We decorated 300 bags!

About our project: This is a very easy way to get the kids involved. In class discussions/lessons re: earth day. Culminated with decorating the bag with an earth day message. The kids loved going to the store and trying to find their own bag or a friends bag. Great idea!

We decorated 450 bags!

About our project: Our school worked together to complete 450 Earth Day Grocery Bags. We educated many people in our community about the need to take care of the environment. Recycling was a popular theme that was illustrated on many of our bags. This was a great project for our school to complete!!
