We decorated 350 bags!

About our project: We had such a wonderful experience with the Earth Day Groceries Project. The students sent letters to the other classrooms in our school informing of the project and encouraging them to join in. For two weeks, the students distributed bags to be decorated and arranged for their collection. With the help of Larson's Piggly Wiggly, our students were able to decorate 350 bags!

We decorated 100 bags!

About our project: This was our first year to participate in the Earth Day Groceries Project. The 6th graders on the MVP team at Blackburn Middle School were very excited because they were able to show others how they can contribute to the beautification of our planet through their pictures and words. It was a great success and I can't wait to do it again next year.
