We decorated 420 bags!

About our project: I talked to a teacher at this school and said I would be willing to do this earth day grocery bag project with them. I did it in Portsmouth, NH at Dondero School for several years before I retired last June. I love teaching young children about how they can help our planet. And my other love is teaching art and doing projects with kids that make a difference.

We decorated 110 bags!

About our project: Our MOMS Club decided to do this project as one of our service projects. I had done this for 4 years with my students and thought it would be a great thing for the young kids in our club to participate in. On half of the bags I drew pictures so that the younger kids could just color them in. They did a really nice job :) We hope to make this a yearly event. Our local paper came and did a story on us.

Look at our pictures!
