We decorated 420 bags!

About our project: This project was useful because too many people litter. It also taught us to re-use cans and paper. We liked drawing on the paper bags for people in our community to see it. I hope that we get to do this project next year. Signed,2 grade 7 students.

We decorated 364 bags!

About our project: This is the second year we've done the Earthday Bags project at Strathcona School. My grade 3 class organized it and the top 3 bags were chosen by all the teachers at a staff meeting to be put on this web site. What a great way to get the whole school and the community aware of Earth Day's message!

Look at our pictures!

We decorated 300 bags!

About our project: Once again, all the students at Lakewood Elementary have participated in the Earth Day Bags project. We were pleased that Thrifty Foods in Colwood were able to provide and distribute our bags. The entire school used them for display in our hallways. Once again, it was an awesome project and the school children look forward to participating in it again next year.

We decorated 450 bags!

About our project: Although I'm not a teacher, I'm sending this in to tell all you guys how much fun we had at our school decorating the bags!!! Before the Gr.7's came to our class to collect our bags, we voted on which ones we liked the most!! And guess what? I was one of the winners!!! (there were 4 winners in total) That was the best art project I've ever done at school!!!
