We decorated 309 bags!

About our project: The students had fun with the project and expanded their awareness of Earth Day and some of the ways in which we can work on in taking care of our planet. We were very pleased with our partnership with New Seasons Market, Concordia. Since their large bags had advertising, they arranged for an order of plain ones for us. They called back after Earth Day to report that the customers loved the project. Then they said that they would like to thank the students by giving them healthy juice bars in return!

About our project: I saw this idea on line and thought it might be a fun, easy way to share with our community the importance of Earth Day. The third grade classes at my school took part in another Earth Day project and I thought this might be a perfect compliment and a great way to get the whole school involved. The other teachers loved it because it was SO easy! Thanks!
