We decorated 150 bags!

About our project: The children had a great time decorating their bags. Many of them went to the store to see if they would see theirs. We can't wait to participate again next year!

We decorated 250 bags!

About our project: Ms. Anderson's 1st grade, Ms. Klaus's 3rd grade, Ms. Klaus's 5th grade, and Mrs. Mroz's 5th - 8th grade all decorated paper bags that were given to us by Kroger Grocery Store. They were decorated and then given back to Kroger in time to hand out on Earth Day! The kids all enjoyed this and we plan on doing this next year!

We decorated 2500 bags!

About our project: Students and schools look forward to this program every year. I deliver Kroger bags to most of the schools in Macon County. It is very time consuming but very worth it.

We decorated 250 bags!

About our project: The children each had a fun time creating a colorful design. Each age-level classes used a different technique appropriate for them: stamp-pads with paint, free-hand drawing with markers, explorative painting using recycled items, etc. They were really unique and individual works of art. I heard from a Jewel Food Store (our sponsor)clerk that patrons really liked seeing and receiving the bags. Great! A hands-on lesson and visual reminder for all to re-use!
