About our project: Acting on a tip from another student teacher who told us that Sobey's was very sympathetic to schools, we phoned our local Sobey's and they quickly donated the 406 paper bags they had laying around. All of the teachers at our school agreed to the project and we found it was a good jumping off point to talk about environmentalism and Earth Day. The kids loved decorating their bags and some of them got them back when they went to Sobey's on Earth Day. A great project.

About our project: Tip: Check with the store to make sure that they have the right bags before beginning the challenge. Successes: We received the bags Thursday, April 19 and 95% of the bags were decorated and ready to deliver Friday night so that Sobeys could use them for EARTH DAY Sunday, April 22. Way to go teachers and students from Delwood.
