About our project: The manager at the Giant in Bowie was great, totally supportive of the idea and was appreciative when I returned with the decorated bags. My first and third graders were excited about the project and expressed a an honest concern for the outcome.

About our project: This year is my third year participating in the Earth Day Grocery Bag Project. This is my first year participating at this school. However since it was such a success at my last school, I gave it a try here. This kids really enjoyed it and were very excited about becoming involved with spreading environmental awareness.

We decorated 200 bags!

About our project: MR. K. donated the grocery sacks for us to decorate. We the sixth grade class decorated 200 sacks and then delivered them to the people around the school to use the next ime they went shopping. We also pucked up trash along the roads and school yard.

We decorated 24 bags!

About our project: Ms. White's fourth grade class enjoyed creating their favorite thing they like most about preserving our earth on a their grocery store bag. All the students took an oath to do something on Earth Day 2007. Each student received a book marker showing 12 ways to celebrate Earth Day. We had lots of fun.

About our project: Our students created designs for bags that were used on Earth Day at the Klein's in Whiteford. Everyone did an excellent job on their designs!
