We decorated 900 bags!

About our project: I thought only my class would want to participate, but asked a couple of other first grade classes if they would be interested. They said yes. Before we knew it, the whole school was participating, as well as the after school program at our school and the other three! The students were so excited to go shopping at Smith's to get a bag!

We decorated 609 bags!

About our project: This was our first year to participate in this project. Most of the bags had "Our Easter Best" printed on them. My students quickly found that they could easily change the message into "Our Earth Day Best" and "Our Earth is the Best". We plan to do this again next year!
