We decorated 100 bags!

About our project: With the help of the grade 3 students from Immaculate Conception and our members from the Centre for Seniors Windsor we were able to send a positive message out into the community. The students and seniors who participated really enjoy this intergenerational event and we look forward to holding this event every year.

We decorated 350 bags!

About our project: Students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 7 participated in this activity. Some of the older grades decorated two bags. Teachers and businesses were more than pleased to do this activity. The community, especially the elderly, enjoyed getting these bags. This is a good joint community and school activity. My only tip would be to make sure all bags have an Earth Day slogan - Earth Day, Don't Pollute, Pick up Garbage, etc.
